What is Body Balancing?
Body balancing is a technique devised by Paula McQuaid, P.T. It is a full body analysis and treatment to achieve harmony and symmetry throughout your body. It is a combination of CranioSacral therapy, visceral manipulation, myofascial release, trigger point release, decompression of the spine and relaxation for the mind. A treatment can include specific exercise prescription for self preservation between sessions.

Anyone who wishes to achieve perfect alignment of their musculoskeletal system, fascial system, neurological system and achieve clarity of mind.

How many sessions will I need?
Everyone’s individual needs are different. A specific plan for treatment sessions will be made after the first session. Typically an individual without a specific diagnosis will need one session and a follow-up appointment to ensure the corrections held.
What can I expect from a treatment?
You will fill out a health history form upon arrival. You will review your past and present medical history with your therapist. You will receive postural analysis in standing, sitting, and on your back. You will remain fully clothed throughout the session. You will be required to remove your belt and shoes. A personalized treatment will begin which will last 45 minutes. Comfortable loose fitting clothes should be worn.
What can I expect afterwards?
You may be fatigued or your muscles may be sore after a session. *Please drink plenty of water after the session to flush any releases toxins out of your newly aligned body.* Muscle soreness could last from 24-48 hours.
