Trish Hinman is a nationally certified and licensed massage therapist, Polarity practitioner, and CranioSacral therapist. She is a graduate of the University of Maine and later trained at the Palmer Institute of Massage and Bodywork in Salem, Massachusetts. To further her training in Polarity therapy, she traveled to Washington State to study under Dr. Leslie Korn, Polarity therapist and educator doing work with the tribal organizations on diabetes, asthma, and stress. While there she assisted Dr. Korn with the completion of “Natural Therapies for Diabetes”, a DVD on the use of holistic therapies and nutrition for the maintenance of diabetes. She studied CranioSacral with Upledger and continues with the Milne Institute.
Trish has been a practicing therapist at FirstHealth of Andover, an alternative health clinic in Andover, Massachusetts. She believes there can be a collaborative relationship of alternative therapies and conventional medicine – a belief that an integrative approach to wellness can assist the client to optimal health. She is committed to making a positive difference in people’s lives and to provide a safe space in which to promote healing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Trish has worked with a wide range of clients and conditions: arthritis, asthma, healing of fractures, nerve pain, trauma, depression, neck/back pain headaches, as well as stress issues and simply relaxation.
